Clough is providing the offshore hook-up and commissioning component of the Chevron-operated Wheatstone Project over a 40 month period commencing February 2012. The agreed scope of work includes the provision of all project management services, engineering, labour, materials and an accommodation support vessel to assist Chevron with pre-commissioning, commissioning of integrated float over deck systems, offshore hook-up, and start-up assistance.

GPS has acted as principal welding services sol on HUC campaigns to leading EPCI clients including Aker Solutions and Ramboll. The participants will be better prepared to function in the design engineering, fabrication and construction department, offshore installation, hook-up, commissioning and start-up of offshore projects. This course will utilise a variety of proven adult learning techniques to con maximum understanding, comprehension and retention of the information presented. This course will resolve the lack of enough quality of up-front planning, lack of ongoing risk assessments; enormous amount of engineering changes etc.
Examples and video clips of past offshore fabrication and load-out activities, as well as offshore installation activities will be used to aid the learning and understanding of the subject matters. The participants will be better prepared to function in the design engineering, fabrication and construction department, offshore installation, hook-up, commissioning and start-up of offshore projects. Such roles include field and discipline engineers, project engineer, cost estimating engineers, construction and fabrication engineers, contract admin executives, CSR, construction supervisors and engineers. MC and Commissioning Dossiers once completed, verified and signed off will form part of the final handover to Client Operations.
Integrated Offshore Commissioning - At peak, Clough will employ an Australian workforce of over 400 people.
The Oil and Gas Offshore Engineering projects are technically and commercially challenging, therefore good knowledge and competency of the project team members throughout the different phases of works are keys to the successful execution of these projects. This PetroKnowledge training course aims to provide the participants with comprehensive foundation knowledge of Offshore Engineering. The participants will be better prepared to function in the design engineering, fabrication and construction department, offshore installation, hook-up, commissioning and start-up of offshore projects. Such roles include field and discipline engineers, project engineer, cost estimating engineers, construction and fabrication engineers, contract admin executives, CSR, construction supervisors and engineers. Relevant international and typical client engineering standards will be referred. This training course will be conducted in a classroom. Participants will also take part in group classroom exercises to reinforce their learning experience. Each participant will receive a set of course materials.
